Ah, relaxing indian ink.

A very interesting and quick medium I also fell in love with back in 2016 (the other one is OILS). It is nice to start inking a pencil sketch and have a very quick result within the same day. Unlike other mediums like acrylics or oils or even pencils the work is done after only a couple of hours. Very neat for unpatient-me who sometimes just needs quick results to keep her art spirit happy. Or I just grab a brush and draw some quick lines to see where they lead me. As was the case with CTHULHU where I worked with a very rough pencil sketch only and just let the ink do the trick. Also, CTHULHU is the first work I used dots in to create light and shadow. I elaborated on this in SAMHAIN and from DRUDENFUSS on, I never looked back to larger ink patches.

Some posts like DRUDENFUSS also contain time lapse videos of the process!
